Our first post will be all about the pups who are 16 days old now. All eyes are open and all can hear. They weigh over three pounds each. Hard to believe when just two weeks ago, 3 of them were under a pound. They sleep a lot but are starting to bark and engage with one another. Everyone is up on all fours, although they still tip over. : ) They have officially moved on from ric-rac and all are wearing proper collars … tiny toy dog collars, but collars all the same. This is the earliest I have ever had real collars on pups and these are definitely the biggest pups we've ever had at this age. The box is now half paper and half bed. Time for them to exit the bedroom! Wonder what Lola will think of that? They are starting to be messy and even Lola cannot keep up! Teaching them to potty on the paper/pee pads vs the rug where they have more traction is proving a challenge. Going to the feed store later to see about a rabbit hutch pan.
