Mona is our puppy back from our collaboration with Shannara kennels in Minnesota and she has been a joy since the day she arrived. My pick of the litter has not let me down … living up to her promise and potential as a lovely show dog and cherished member of our pack. It's a good thing she also lived up to her name in her beauty! ; )
Mona got two points as a youngster and then we decided to focus on the other girls and let her grow up. Well worth the wait, she finished her Championship in fine style over two weekends earning her a Best of Breed Win, 2 Best of Opposite Sex wins, and 4 Best Of Winners for her Champion title!
Now, we can get back to training for her working titles and hopefully have a litter in early 2022.
Mona is very special to our kennel as she incorporates our foundation lines and our years of importing and breeding dogs. She is also a wonderful reminder of all the great friendships we have formed here and abraod to keep producing top quality Flat-Coated Retrievers.
