When my husband, who fully supports my insanity in dogs, asks why the puppy he likes best has to go, that puppy stays. Lymon Bean is said puppy. He is a wonderful combination of both parents and a sweet, albeit talkative, dog to live with. Lymon was bitten by a rattlesnake at the age of 10 months and we fought hard to save him. He proved to us that he was worth every worry and every penny by winning his class at the National Specialty and taking Best Puppy in Show just six weeks post snake-bite. He won his first major at the tender age of 9 mos, another at 18 mos, his third at just two years and finished at his first All Breed show of 2014 with Winner’s Dog / Best of Winners and a Best of Breed win over Champions. Lymon was tragically hit by a car while we were on vacation in Hawaii. No words can ever capture the hollow we feel in our hearts and how painful it is to speak his name. It has taken me over 18 months to even post this here. We miss our Lima Bean every single day and will never forget the character he was and the love he brought into our lives.
